Sector Fleet Nose Punch?

Was reading the @Drasnighta Nose Punch list yesterday and I was wondering, would this become a powerful thing in sector fleet? More points on the same play area easily allow 2 or 3 interdictors to be present and cover the enemy deployment zone with grav wells, and still have points for covering ISDs/demo, plus more points for squadrons to do nose punches. More ships on the enemy side also means the first several activations in the first round still sees some enemy ships unactivated, which are thus exposed to bombers for longer and thus more potentially crippled/blown up.

Interesting... I definitely see the potential.

A while back we had a 600 pt for fun tourney. I ran 3 Interdictors and 3 Vics ( or was it 2? I forget). Completely shut down the opponents deployment zone. With out the squads to punch with, my opponents just sat and stacked tokens. Still, Nose punch is where I kind of started the list, and this version certainly would have played nicely into what I was trying to do. Hmmm, I don't think I am going to be popular with my local community for a while.

Well, what’s interesting about the sector fleet thing is that YOU can bring the interdictors and your TEAMMATE can bring the bombers. So you don’t have to stretch trying to be half one thing and half another to pull off the nosepunch. You set them up, your buddy knocks them down.
