The Delta pilots of the Squadron Pack and the individual expansions are different. The Squadron Pack has Obi, Mace, Plo, and Tiin, where the Expansion has Anakin, Luminara, Barriss, and Ahsoka. The Vulture in both packs also seem to have different pilots as well.

Hasn't FFG always done this? Putting different pilots in the single model kits vs the multi-packs? The core set has TIE/LN's and a T-65, but the TIE/LN and T-65 xpac's have different pilots. The same was (I think) true across all of 1.0.

The Sep Squad pack has DFS-081 while the single Vulture pack doesn't. Upgrade wise it looks like the Vulture only single gets Discord Missiles (with the token as well) while the Sep Squad Pack doesn't, though there are quite a few cards face down in the Squad Pack spread.

Yes, they have. My observation was more along the lines that the ships themselves have already been previewed, although with different pilots, we'll probably see a preview for every pack in Wave III. We were just discussing whether we can predict an appropriate release date given the assumption of a preview every Monday.

In my opinion, they should have released Wave 3 at the start of hyperspace season, to get all 7 factions playing in hyperspace trials. Getting points lists out while the season is running may not be the best thing.

For this reason, I would hope for a late febuary release, but I think that they will release it mid-march.

Yes, this has always been the case. Every time there was a new blister or pack featuring a model, there was at least some unique pilots involved that could only be found in that particular pack.

I’m torn. Realeasing at Adepticon first would be cool since I’ll be there.

Given we've still got at least three expacs (ARC, Sith Infiltrator, Aethersprite, possibly also the standalone Vulture and Torrent?) to preview, it's likely to be at least a month.

There's no standalone Torrent expansion. The only way to get them is in the big box. However, there are also Scum Z-95s and TIE Strikers coming in Wave 3.

I thought not, but I couldn't remember, ditto whether they already previewed the standalone Vulture.

So, early to mid April, rather than mid to late March seems likely, depending on whether they bother previewing the Striker and Z or not, which seems questionable to me given the complete lack of new content; literally the only thing to say about either is 'the Z has new paintwork'.

There are new people to this game. I would actually be surprised if an expansion does not get a preview article.
