Good Adventures/Modules for FaD characters

By Nihil84, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny RPG

Hey I'm thinking about running a FaD game as the backup game for my online group. I'm pretty confident in my grasp of the rules but adventure design is a weakness. So I was looking for some good modules for a FaD game, both official and unofficial.

Sex in advance.

As you wish.

Have you had a look at some of the published adventures?

No I haven't would prefer some suggestions before investing money into anything.

I can really recommend Nexus of Power! It has tons of good stuff in there: wonderful places which are influenced by the force, cool relics that can be the core of your hunt and modular encounters that can be easily adapted to most adventures. But, there are no "out-of-the-box" adventures, so you still would have to invest some time and work - as an inspiration this book is perfect.

I'm looking for a group for Star Wars Force and Destiny Beginner Game Tabletop(Offline). I'm in California.

Background: I've tried to get my family to play it. Like my mom in her 70s and my niece. They both were looking at the Core Rule book and they said: It would take too long to figure it out. 400 pages long. I'm not play it. My mom just flatly refused. When my niece asked is this all there is(repeated the question. I responded like a robot: Yes thats it. But my mom said: I could try my cousins. I do not have job. Do to my mental and physical disabilities(I'm on SSI). If your asking me about job or something like that.

But I really do need a group to play Star Wars Force and Destiny Beginner Game TableTop. I do have The Star Wars: Age of Rebellion.

I know I'm running the risk. But I'm new to the game and I need someone that understands it. A few players and Game Master.

Check out your local game stores. Most of them will have a board or some way of advertising people who are looking for groups. Are your parents OK with you inviting strangers over? If not, you may have to schedule time at a game store that has open gaming areas.

Other options are to do online games to start. There is a Discord server available that regularly has online games going and would welcome new GMs.

Roll20.net also has some online Star Wars FFG games.

I'm currently running The Chronicles of the Gatekeeper for some friends of mine. They enjoy playing it, and I enjoy running it. The story centers around the use of a rare Force Power, a modified version of Foresight which allows the PCs to see what individual sentients are most likely to do in the near future... and all the moral and ethical dilemmas which result from reacting to events which are not yet set in stone.

From what I’m reading I also enjoy chronicles of the gatekeeper. Haven’t played it, but I’m planning to run a modified version of the first chapter soon
