I've got some projects in mind that I might want to recreate the Imperial blue-grey color we often see on TIE fighters for.

I've always been a fan of it, and I'm curious if anyone has managed to discover the paint FFG uses for it or a super-close cousin of it.

(Not looking to start a debate about ANH vs. ESB/ROTJ TIE colors, so please refrain.)

So, anyone got any feedback?

I've used Citadel The Fang (shadow grey) a lot, and it's similar, though perhaps too dark. I've heard of Vallejo Luftwaffe Grey, but haven't tried it.

Happy to hear what others have discovered.

I usually mix dark sea blue (vallejo) and german grey (vallejo). That might work. Add in some The Fang (citadel) to lighten maybe?

Got a sample? Best advice is to use this as an opportunity to use a color wheel and figure it out!
