I've got some projects in mind that I might want to recreate the Imperial blue-grey color we often see on TIE fighters for.

I've always been a fan of it, and I'm curious if anyone has managed to discover the paint FFG uses for it or a super-close cousin of it.

(Not looking to start a debate about ANH vs. ESB/ROTJ TIE colors, so please refrain.)

So, anyone got any feedback?

I've used Citadel The Fang (shadow grey) a lot, and it's similar, though perhaps too dark. I've heard of Vallejo Luftwaffe Grey, but haven't tried it.

Happy to hear what others have discovered.

Have you thought about posting this over on the Legion painting forum here? Those people might have some good insights into this.

Fenrisian Grey washed with Nuln Oil is decently close to the color FFG is using with 2.0

But I'm a pretty casual painter and also lack the sensitivity to differences in hue that some people have, so maybe don't trust me that much
