Hi,

how do you play in group ? I mean, how do you setup the table so everyone can see the app ?

Right now, I have an iPad pro (12.9 inches) and a 15 inches laptop and I’m really wondering if I should buy DLC on steam or on iPad.

Ipad is easy to move around when I bring my game to someone else table but the screen is a little smaller. My laptop is bigger but it’s heavier and battery lenght is shorter.

I like my home setup where I use my TV but it’s not always possible when I’m not at home.

so, what do you do ?

The best thing that I've learned in my group is to have one person running the app and narrating while others take care of tile and component placement. The only time we have others interact with the laptop is to do puzzles, otherwise everyone can tell whats going on by looking at the tokens on the game board. We just make sure that whomever is reading knows how to handle the functions of the app.

We play using Steam and then project onto a 42in TV screen at the end of the table. All 5 of us could see the screen no problem. We also used a wireless mouse. Worked out great

Totally agree. After fighting over who handled what the first time around, we found having one DM made everything run smoothly. Also having specific jobs for each player helps a lot too (my buddy was a self-described tile maiden, while my girlfriend did the various chips, etc.).

It also had the benefit of making the game feel like a traditional board game for everyone else.

I use a tv (roughly 50 inches) with my laptop and a wireless mouse. I have an external sound card which I route to external studio monitors to get the true atmosphere of the music that is embedded in the app.

Depending on if my friends are up to it, I have an rgb lights synced to a mythos phase transition button that turns the whole room a dark low red (can get old fast). I recommend buying on steam, I got a dlc for $3 for some coupon rather than the $5. I only wish everything could sync up (I play with the phone only sometimes as well).
