For example in a Fang or Awing can I use the "Red" linked boost to trigger dare devil?
Thanks!

No because Daredevil requires the boost action to be white in order to trigger.
I stumbled across this old post whilst searching for a similar answer.
I'm not sure this is correct.
A Fang Fighter's boost is white and therefore can trigger Daredevil, you just can't then link it into the red focus (as you will already be stressed by Daredevil (that was what I was originally looking for confirmation on)).

That is correct, you cannot link from a red action.

Actually, there's nothing that directly prevents you from linking from a red action. The stress from the first action indirectly prevents you from performing any action, but if you have a way to perform actions while stressed, like Contraband Cybernetics, you can perform red actions to your heart's content. I don't think there are currently any ships that would allow this combination, but it's something to consider for the future.
Good breakdown. Thanks for the expanded explanation @emeraldbeacon

I'd thought about tossing in a "well actually" but I'm glad I didn't because you did better than I would have.
