Hi all , so while I understand you don’t suffer any negative effect of an asteroid while moving, am I right in thinking that if you actually land on said asteroid normal penalties are incurred.

The damage and skipping of the action step are a result of moving over the asteroid, and are thus ignored.

The inability to shoot is a result of your position when you attempt to shoot, rather than of moving through, and is therefore not ignored.

So, you can move onto it, roll off it, and shoot fine.
