So, I was sitting here thinking:
Wave 1 - September
Wave 2 - December
So, a two month gap between waves. If we assume FFG sticks with this trend, wave 3 would be next month, the just revealed Wave 4 in June, game adjustment in July, wave 5 in September and Wave 6 in December followed immediately with the forums exploding with posts attempting to summon point adjustments again.
What do you guys think? Will they stick to this schedule or will things slow down as the year drags on?
My expectations is they will start to slow, but likely try to maintain a quick pace through 2019. I also expect wave 4 to be a GenCon release... but hey, FFG do like they’re surprises.
As to Wave 3... end of March maybe... possibly early April???
Edited by LagJansonI’m guessing wave 3 is late March and 4 will be GenCon because they really like their GenCon releases. Maybe they’ll be able to rush 4 out and have 5 at GenCon for early release with a fall general release, but I doubt it.

Nothin' quite like typing on a screen less than two inches wide. It’s also why I have editors proof anything I write for publication. Er... because phone typing. Yeah...
I remember hearing that the goal was 3 waves per year but I have no idea whether that was spoken by a dev or just hearsay.
It's plausible, though- if you look at wave 4, there's 8 different ships releasing, which is a ton. But only 3 of those ships are new game design, and only 2 more are new sculpts - they can ship expansions a lot faster when they're already 95% designed.
March, and we'll see the next wave in June or July.
