To buy or not to buy

By RoBro, in Chaos in the Old World

I am really interested in buying this game. I have a few questions about its quality and contents.

Do you have to attach the spinners every time or do you leave them on the board? If so, is the board foldable with the spinners on it?

It must be where I live, but every time I receive a FFG in the mail the board is horribly warped at a high angle, does the board warp for anyone?

Are the rules easy to teach, or are there little details and exceptions to everything?

1) They stay attached. The board is foldable, and fits into the box, with the dials attached.

2) My board hasn't warped at all.

3) Like the other FFG games I've played, the rulebook looks much more intimidating than the game actually plays. I've taught the game now to half-a-dozen people, and all of them grasped it within the first few turns of play.

Hey, thanks. I will probably go out and get this game today. I cant wait to infect the Old World!

Hi!

- Every piece of the game fits perfectly into the box. All my miniatures are painted up and stored in a foamcore tray, which fits perfectly into the box, too.

- The board hasn't warped at all for the last months. It's manufactured perfectly as it is.

- The game is really easy to understand once you have played a round or two. I've taught the game to half a dozen people and everyone dug into the rules without a problem - and everyone LOVED the game.

It's the best game of the last years (for me)... go buy it! :-)
