Rebel Commandos

By Cornwolf, in Star Wars: Legion

Hi all,

I am sorry to ask such a noob question but I am just starting to build my army to playing and I haven't played for a while. With in the commandos which models belong to the strike team and which are the bombers or whatever they are called.

Thanks

The Mon Cala is the sniper, while the guy holding the RotJ-looking charges/pop can is the bomber.

Sorry no clearer :S

it doesn't mater which model you use for the strike team as long as they also have a heavy weapon as well

The sniper holds a sniper, while the saboteur is holding what looks like to be a proton charge. You can pair either one of them with a normal commando squad trooper (which model does not matter)

Sniper on the left, Saboteur on the right:

And just to clarify...

You have two choices for the heavy weapon for the strike team: the sniper on the left or the saboteur on the right.

The other figure on the two person strike team is really your choice of the remaining 5 miniatures in the box.

From a technical standpoint, you shoudln't use the Unit Leader mini for the strike team because the weapon is the unit leader, but I doubt anyone will take issue with it if you do.

But who's to say which mini is actually the unit leader mini in that box. While it's obvious for almost all other expansions, I think a case can be made that two of the minis could actually be the "unit leader" - pointing woman or Orrimaarko.

TBH, I usually do take the pointing woman in at least one of my Sniper strike teams as I like the sniper/spotter look it gives the unit. And Orrimaarko is usually my other choice. :D

So I guess I'm a big cheater, technically. ;)

I don't know what that is, but it isn't part of the squad. The only aliens available are a Mon Cal and Pruneface

Um, that's Pruneface's real name. :D
