I'm in the process of trying to trade-in for a Scum falcon with the escape pod as I'm seeing that used in a lot of lists which would make things a lot easier. Though I'd ultimately like the new ships, the price really does prohibit me, but I might be able to source some second hand ships including a Quad, Scurrg or Starviper if I want to spend a little cash - do any any of these come highly recommended?

Im starting to like Asajj Ventress in Shadow Caster with "Hate". Thats a nice stresser/green stripper. Put that together with Old Teroch in a fang for more green stripping.

That will give you 64 points left for upgrades and a third ship. I think this would be strong with a G-1A Starfighter / 4LOM (with advances sensors and mist hunter), he gives out more stress, but your punishing one or millenium will work too (Maybe Han Solo in millenium with trick shot).
