Bossk and Scurrgs

So my monthly league is having a "Faction Identity" month, where each faction has a mandatory card to play, at no cost to the player. (Imp- ISB slicer crew, Rebel- R2-D2 astro, Scum- Boba Fett crew, Res- Paige Tico gunner, FO- General Hux crew)

This list was surprisingly good tonight, the Scurrg bombers were beefy and Bossk was nasty with the double damage from crits ability. Not the most agile of squads, so not normally may favorite of flying styles (I'm a die-hard Imp Aces lover), but these massive medium-base jousters throw out huge amounts of dice. 3-5-7 dice depending on range per ship is no joke. Thoughts?

2x Lok Revenant/DT/VTG are in pretty much in every scum list im building right now.

was tinkering was pairing them with Drea and another cheap Y-Wing with coordinate from squad leader... it has real potential but like you, im a bit worried about its cumbersome movement options... faster ships could easily get in behind and play a hit and run game avoiding just enough shots by arc dodging to create problems.

Has me thinking the list needs a flanker/finisher and escape craft for coordinate which led me to this squad...

lets me deploy with Fenn on one flank and slow roll up with the bombers supported by escape craft. If they go after Fenn then he can retreat and draw them into your bombers. Fenn can also feint an attack up one flank and double back to join the main force. bombers are slow to turn around so having Fenn is also some protection should they get in behind the bombers.

Only real issues I have with the list is with Boba crew (you're hands are tied on that one) and prot bombs (I prefer seismics or proxies, really a personal taste thing). Looks like fun to fly though. :)

It does give me an idea for a list to fly against someone next chance I have.

Drops Boba and the prot bombs out and replaces them with seismics and shields on the Loks to increase their survivability a little.

The list was fun to fly, though I think next week I'll drop the bombs and take shield upgrades- not because I don't like the bombs, but I keep forgetting to use them. The Scurrg itself will probably be in my toolbox for Scum for the foreseeable future- the amount of health to chew through and the damage output means that even a bare bones Lok Revenant w/dorsal and VTG is very efficient for 51 points. Makes a great distraction that has to be taken seriously.

Since you have to use the Boba crew, why not switch out Bossk with Moralo? You can truly have some fun against your opponent.

This also gives you the opportunity to do the Reinforce action while having the Force available to mod your dice.

As well as adding shield upgrade onto Moralo since Boba crew is free.

You can try dropping shield upgrade to get Nym. Lets you have major area control with his ability, protecting flanks on bossk. What about putting 000 on Nym or the Lok? You want them to be range 1/2 for double tap and then bossk can then be further back. Opponent takes a stress for bossk/bt1 or your double tappers get a calc. Dropped one proton to seismic. Seismic and Nyms ability is SOOO good. He just plants one in the middle of three asteroids and creates a huge area denial for aces. Leaves points for Qira on Bossk so he can lock a center asteroid early and not have to worry about it.

EDIT: Wow, just had a thought. Boba Fett on Nym lets him start near any rocks he wants, and on turn 1 can drop a seismic and create a huge area of denial instantly.
