Imagine I have C3P0 equipped as crew in Norra Wexley ARC-170 and have an enemy ship at range 0-1.

Before rolling dice I use C3P0's ability to guess 1. My evade die rolls a blank (or focus) and I then add 1 evade to the roll.

Do I get the +1 evade because I have 1 evade result, or does the +1 evade apply only to the roll?

I'm essentially asking if C3P0 on ARC-170 Norra Wexley always provides two evades so long as I have an enemy within range 0-1 and a calculate token.

Threepio says you have to ROLL what you guessed to get the bonus.

Norra ADDS an evade. You never rolled that die.

So, it doesn’t work 😩

However if you guess 1, roll 1, and have an enemy at range 1, you could block 3 hits! Cool.
