Would really like to use two generic trooper models for the laser cannon team vs. snow guys. I'm good with the snowtroopers for the Empire as mine are going to be extreme weather troopers and not specifically snow. But would really like to use two joes for the radar dish gun. Is there a site or does anyone know where I could track down a couple? Not so much worth it to me to grab a full unit off Ebay...

Skull Forge Studios on Shapeways has a pair of "Rebel Ordnance Operators" models which would work, but cost almost as much as a full kit of Rebel Troops.

Honestly, I'm just going to paint the 1.4 FD troops in a similar paint scheme to the rest of my models, they'll blend in better once the Pathfinders are released since elements of their uniform are used by Pathfinders.

Yeah, I like the Skullforge stuff but the prices aren't worth it for just 2 crew models. would be cheaper to buy a full used unit off ebay.

Yeah. Just get a squad of guys and have lots of spares for the next project. Or swipe two models and still have a 5 man squad left.

I made some from extra figures (corps and commandos are almost identical in gear, pathfinders look close as well)

If I got another 1.4, I'd be tempted to make an all HOTH geared unit though.
