Since most rebel ships do not have either of the BOOST or BARREL ROLL maneuvers, and must purchase them via either the Vectored Thruster or Engine upgrade ship modification. Which do YOU think is more important/worthy?

I believe it depends upon the ship.
Do you want range 1? Boost
Do you want to arc dodge? B-Roll
But then again, boost is an excellent means for large base turrets to dodge arcs.
Personally, I'm a fan of Intensity-barrel roll. But that's just me.
Usually neither upgrade. Engine Upgrade is decent on large-base ships (particularly the YT-1300), but kind of too expensive on small base. Vectored Thrusters aren't too bad, but I can't really think of many ships I'd put it on. X-Wings do better with S-Foils and Integrated Astromech. A-Wings want Autothrusters. Y-Wings probably don't to invest the points most of the time. It'd be kinda neat to put Vectored on a K-Wing like Miranda, but may
Also, Flight Assist Astromech is wicked cheap and goes a long way. That provides some access to boosts and barrel rolls as free actions for a single point.
