The goal was to do a swarm that could pump out good damage and be good at jousting. Leia is cheap and they are all initiative 2 for whatever movement order I require. Modifications? Suggestions?

I want to like generic b-wings....

Even with Leia, I feel generic X-wings are a far better deal.

The best maneuvers on the B-wing is the 1-tallon rolls, or the 2k, but without outmaneuver talent they lose value, also advanced sensors or a low initiative coordinate ship seem necessary to get a lock or focus on b-wings.

Without the talent, or the sensor, or a coordinate ship, its really lacking compared to an X-wing.

x-wing is more durable due to extra defense die and much more mobility.

With your current list, b-wings only have a good turn when Leia is used, while x-wings have good turns without her and great turns when she is used.

My suggestion is swap the B-wings for x-wings, and you will have a dangerous list.

Bwings have a focus + barrel roll linked action. 2 sharp focus b-roll or 1 bank focus b-roll is pretty nice and covers lots of ground. This is an advantage they have over xwings.

Xwings dont have that. They have to lose a red die for a focus boost.

Does it outweigh the X-wings extra defense die, and dramatically less stressed dial?

I was kinda saying a naked X-wing is better than a naked B-wing, with upgrades I can see advantages to a B-wing.

Save yourself 2 points and field AP-5 with Leia instead of Zeb. not only will you save the points but AP-5 is a better support ship. Only a 2 point bid however you could throw the extra 2 points at an R4 astro or trick shot with AP-5
