Hey all,

I'm trying to decide what paints to get next and I could really use some input! I play imperials primarily.

What I currently have:

Citadel Nuln Oil, Vallejo Game Color black & Citadel Abaddon Black, GC Sun Yellow, GC Scarlett Blood, GC Mutation Green & Cayman Green, GC Steel Grey & Wolf Grey, GC Arctic White, Vallejo Model Color Basic Skin-tone & Leather Brown, Citadel Tau Light Ochre, Citadel Leadbelcher, Vallejo Model Color Turquoise, GC Imperial Blue & Royal Purple

I also have a few GC Washes: red wash, blue wash, flesh wash, sepia shade, & green wash.

Any suggestions are definitely appreciated. If there are some colors you really like please let me know, especially if they are good for painting flesh and machinery! Painting the emperor, Luke Skywalker, and the rebel troopers was difficult for me as I seem to struggle with the skin appearing too light or the paint running upon application.

I really never payed attention to "what I really needed". I would keep a log of what I have and every week I would go buy $20 worth of either Citadel or Vallejo paints I didn't have and built my stash that way. Unless your painting a mini and need a certain miniature...then I went to get it right away. Since your playing Imperial then I suggest your black's dark blue's, grey's, possible olive green's and whites for now. Hope this helps.
