Ah, English. Where the house is pronounced "Dees" like "Decent", yet spelled "Dis" so you want to pronounce it like "kiss" (hence the wordplay in the title), yet even in the description another instance of "dis-" is seen in "dissecting" and it pronouced "Dice".
Not sure when this was recorded but I did want to say that the Pit Lord vs Restringutus issue was fixed. Cannot overrides must. So if you are told you can't choose Dis by Restringutus while you have Pitlord in play, you are able to choose one of your other two houses. I don't think you were implying that Control the Weak and Pitlord keep you from picking a house but you did mention them together as well (before mentioning Restringutus). In that case, you just pick whichever of the two "must" houses you've been told you must pick.
Anyway, Dis is an interesting toolbox of control. Having stuff like Succubus + Ember Imp, then following with Control the Weak or Restringutus is really frustrating to play around if you time it well.
I do like your statement that Control the Weak is used too much in relation with what you're worried about your opponent doing, rather than what you're wanting to do.
