Scum List-Thoughts?

So after the point shift I've been trying to update my squads but have decided that Kavil/Han and Palob/Lando were just too many points. Bids aren't really a thing where I'm at, so no real worries about being at 200. So I intend to likely use this squad in the same way as my old one which was much the same except for Palob is now the Lok and Kavil had Han. I use the two turret ships as a hammer and anvil controlling people into a kill box and Talonbane and his sidekick operate more as a scalpel. Thoughts? Hopefully I'll give it a go at this Saturday's tournament.

Cant say I am a huge fan of Swarm tactics on Kavil since:

A) have another I5 in the squad

B) Kavil is only I5 (with so many I5s these days you would NEED the bid to make it worth the strategy the whole game)

I'm unimpressed with Kihraxz fighters you can spend your 57 points (60 if you include swarm tactics) on a more effective ship.

The escape craft coordinate should be paired with a ship(s) that would gain the efficiency from an extra action... say a Kimoglia or Fang fighter equipped with Torps to have that sweet target lock + focus action to launch a maxed mod attack.

I just feel like there's too little in the way of mods here. I don't think upgrades can fix that

What about this list? Drea gives you some mods. If you run fire-control, then use R3 Astro allso? Use Ion on both turrets, more control. I love expert handling on y-wing. Genius and seismic is fun.

Cheaper! Drea with Dorsal, no VTG, a regen droid, H/S U

Lose Havoc and stuff from Lok. Then add another!

And an Ion/VTG Y

If you are throwing in Drea, then you are definitely going to want to make sure you are running more generics. Her ability is great andwith a pair of Lok Revenant Scurrgs, you can do some real damage! The Black Sun Ace is pretty much required at that point.

Fly the scurrgs in front of Drea with Drea’s turret facing whatever direction you think you might fly if the opponent avoids the joust.

Fly the scurrgs aggressively because if you reach range 1 with drea in range, its 4 primary+3 turret should kill or cripple just about anything.

Meanwhile Graz gets an extra attack die while reducing enemy defense die if you flank successfully.
