Kanan senses the positioning on whichever ship you want dead, he then uses cassian to change his dial to line up a shot. When hera reveals her dial she uses her pilot ability to change her dial to line up on the target previously sensed.

if everything goes as planned Hera is bumping the target with a mod from advanced sensors, and Kanan is also in arc of the target with mods. 2 ghosts with mods against a target with 1 less defense die.

What do you think?

Since they both can change their dials they have a slight ability to arc dodge ships without boost.

Still has reasonably firepower unlike most 2 ship lists(11 dice at range 2), and it wont be very easy to block.

Any ways to tweak?

I dunno if it'd work, but it seems like a cool concept.

The only thing I might change change is Ion Cannon Turret for Dorsal Turret and Fire Control System. Kanan can double-tap with Veteran Turret Gunner, so having persistent reroll mods seems nice. Ion is pretty nice, though... I'm kind of hesitant to cut either Nien Nunb or Leia for FCS while keeping Ion Cannon Turret.

I've been messing around with my Hera/Kanan list, as of right now using Kanan as a bit of a bully and flanking with Hera has worked nicely.

I was kinda trying to leverage kanan’s unique access to force+crew to make both ghosts a little arc dodgy/reliable range 1 attacks.

I feel like your list is focused on pure firepower which to me feels better with 1 ghost+ 2 x-wings.

Goal was to make all 3 a big threat, thane only becomes one when the enemy has a few damage cards.

I am tempted to drop kanan down to dorsal gun to pick up fcs....not sure.

Do you mean the double ghost list or ghostXX?

Double ghost is speculative as I won’t pick up a 2nd Ghost until its re-released.

Hera, Wedge, Thane is a little less speculative as I have tried that Hera build with Y-wings, but somehow I totally forgot about intimidation at the time.

Wedge with outmaneuver forces your opponent to be wary of his positioning as losing 2 defense dice is a very real threat.

Thane I also used, still not sure what elite fits him best. He is useful to fish for debilitating crits.

Super excited to see others thinking the way I am. I did fly a Kanan/ Hera list against a post points Whisper redline build and got outmaneuvered by whisper. Maybe I need to fly better.

Yo OP, your original Hera build is excellent! In pairing her with Kanan, he could very easily be naked, just taking a lock each turn and shooting, with the help of his force. AdSen on him too would be a greater help still
