The people's champion

Alright everyone, let's try to spot the error in the article!

Morgan Reid?

Hey, is it strange to have the entire article be an error ? @Rytackle

I sense collusion at the highest level...

This is outrageous, its unfair. How can Phil Booth be on the council, but not be granted the rank of System Open Champion?

I am so confused.

Found it!

We know, for instance, that the recent points costs should bring large-base ships back into the metagame, even though there were zero large-base ships in the Top 12 lists at Glendale.”

Dash Rendar, large base, third place.

Yeah, I assume I'm missing several references somewhere.

They reported the wrong person as champion.

Article got pulled, lol.

Ah, that explains a bit.

So there is actually an article? I clicked the link to go to an empty page, and assumed the whole post was some sort of joke.

There was, it just got taken down.

There was an actual article, talking at great length on Ryan Farmer's achievements. I'm sure there are copies saved to hard drives by this point.

There most certainly are!

Either way, Farmer is going to have to find himself a new list...

Rather than reboot reality, the article has been fixed and is back up.

While Ryan Farmer is no longer the winner, he remains the people's champion. In our hearts.

Article is fixed now. Hahaha.

Edit: Ninja'd, well at least it is partially fixed anyway.

There's still an issue with the article's contention that the quad Sigmas were nearly untouched. I guess that depends on whether they consider that fourth copy of Juke to be an important part of the list.

Yes and no?

The fourth can have Crack Shot, which seems a decent enough trade. Loses some potency, but only some.

Don't worry, I'm sure the free Jamming Beams they're giving away will take care of those old Phantoms...

You joke, but do you think that Quad Phantoms would do anything but be terrified of a Scyk swarm with jamming?

It would be a legitimately interesting thing to watch.

I mean my Lambda lists I’m throwing it in. May never use it, but you can never quite be sure…

😈 Sunny + 5 6 (that single point discount on the Spacer enabled an extra to fit when paired with the cut to the cost of the beam) Spacers, all with Jamming beam. Probably niche, but death of 1000 papercuts on a single target is possible. Hard to dodge all the arcs.

Replace a Juke with Crackshot. New list done.
