It does not say that you have to remove the resource token(s) off the quest when I choose to use it to make my opponets discard cards from there deck.But I always have removed them.....because people around here say it would be over powerd if the resources stayed.

It works the way the card says. Tokens are removed from this quest only if the questing unit is removed from the quest. Period. It is not overpowered but it is powerful. I'm always somewhat surprised to see non-rush decks without at least one copy of this in their deck, especially if they are running Quest Zone only units.
