Yup. I still like Bistan for multiple shots, or VTG got cheaper. So getting 2 modded shots is do-able (perCop, Lando...).

TBH no one is asking the real question. Now that everyone (most everyone) got what they wanted; torps nerfed, barrage rockets nerfed, bombers nerfed, punisher nerfed, Supernatural reflexes nerfed....

What will stand up to the Uuupsilons? Especially in hyperspace? Inb4 we have to wait until July for the upsilon point nerf.

Leia will be all over the place at 2 points.

B-Wings will see more play

I'll be playing more Gold squadron with double tap ion cannon turret instead of grey squadron.

Seeing E-wings will be great.

Red Squadron Veteran, Selfless, R2 Astromech is also 50 points.

Mix and match for a damage-sharing, quad regenerating, control squad.

At 74 Redline w/Adv. Sensor+Torps is still really good for the points.

I can only speak to what factions I play:

Expect to see 2 UPS + Blackout.

For scum, expect to see the IG’s back in the game. Cheaper IGs and IG-88D crew staying the same will bring them back to the table.

Good to see someone else toying with mixed Gold Squadron/Red Squadron forces. I was thinking of Ion Torpedoes on the X-wings instead of across the board Selfless because everyone needs more ion tokens.

You can have 5 double taping Gray squadrons in a list now... That is a lot of red dice backed by 40 health.

yeah the Uuupsilons will be the new bogeyman.

I personally converted over to 2.0 just this month (January) and I had fun trying to make a three X-Wing division work (I'm still struggling with the learning curve, so bear with me).

Any rate after much trial and error this month, I finally won a hard contest last night for the first time. I'm happy about that!

I had already planned on flying three B-Wings for February (before the changes) and the changes certainly make that more appealing (to be sure), but my biggest limitation with the B-Wings is that I need to borrow a dial and a pilot card so that I could fly my three B-Wings. (No worries, I'm covered).

I did notice that the jamming beam is free.

And my X-Wings took a pounding from a scum build with one mounted jamming beam (which nerfed my ability to launch torpedoes). And now jamming beams are FREE!

With two cannon slots on the B-Wing, better believe that I'll be including those on each B-Wing.

The other thing I'm looking forward to trying is to tractor opponents off of the board. With two tractor beams on two B-Wings, it's going to be dangerous to get within 4 inches of the edge of the board. :blink:

I'm still very new to this game, so it will be interesting to see what the vets come up with for next month.

Bistan, Percop, Jyn, and optional Title, Trickshot, Engine Upgrade and whatever else you want. Focus/Evade and double shots every round.

Whisper is far from gone, even in competition. Stripped down with just Juke and possibly Collision Detector, she will still be deadly and a frequent list filler.

Redline is still good, but no longer quite the monster.

Prediction: tripple, nearly naked IG-88 with titles and jamming beam will be a thing. If an IG-88 attack and hits, that's good. If he attacks and misses, that leaves out the jamming beam to truly strip all tokens and open the way for the other 2.

Yup, or even just mess with Phantoms ability to cloak in the end phase and strip mods from ships at lower In so they shoot back and get fewer hits against the bots

It's a possibility but it's very low init, even without the lock problem, range control and arc dodging should neuter it, even if it's unlikely that it gets a ship PS killed.

We'll see how it pans out. It definitely is not a dive in and brawl list, but in even decent hands who understand strike & fade and how to implement it I can see it getting out of hand.

I4 Ten Numb & I4 braylen with selfless and jamming beam.

I4 Dutch & I4 Horton with sefless, ion turret and veteran turret gunner.

32 health, defensive damage spreading, ion control, jammers if needed, double tapping Ys, double modded Bs

The list is 201. Might have to drop a selfless on a B? Still might be in trouble with I5s and I6s but hopefully ion control can help with that.

The track Sim ability is so powerful, and brokenly undercosted.

I say this as someone who does use bombs, but never traj Sim. In fact my preferred bombing platform is the Striker.

Im laughing this one all the way to the bank. 10 points seems much more fair than the 3 it was, for such a powerful board control ability.
