Greedo Shot First (I6 Swarm Tactics + Bossk with Greedo Gunner)

Bossk FINALLY can guarantee crits on his 180 arc! Bid helps to get you the initiative so you don't lose Greedo's charge, Dengar gets Bossk up to I6 in the first place, and Kavil can push Bossk up to I5 in a pinch if Dengar bites it. Looking forward to giving this a try later. Greedo in general looks great on all YVs even without I6 Swarm Tactics, you could just pack Greedo+Lando and reinforce, forcing the opponent to choose between ignoring the YV and possibly eating a crit later or sinking shots into a reinforced tank. Another thought is eating into the bid and swapping out Kavil for Trick Shot Han for more big damage potential, but I think this will do.

Edit: Derp, misread Greedo's card, thought it worked like Wampa where you lose his charge when you get shot. So Swarm Tactics isn't even necessary beyond denying extra crits to the enemy.

2 things (1) you can chain the I6 from Dengar through Kavil to Bossk. (2) After giving this a go maybe consider swapping Trick out on Bossk for Swarm Tactics and adding a vet turret gunner to Kavil to royally punish anyone who ends up in Kavil's front arc w/n range 2 (7pt total increase over Trick Shot, Swarm Tactics being 3 and Vet Turret Gunner now being 6).

I know you can chain it, I was just pointing out that Kavil still bumps up Bossk's initiative. But looking at the list, I realize you don't even really need to Swarm Tactics at all. Some reason I'd thought Greedo was like Wampa and loses the ability to crit after you get shot, but it just gives crits both ways until you shoot. So I'm thinking of building a list with Bossk + Greedo/4-LOM/Lando and other wingmates instead, leaving Bossk as a rather tanky pseudo 4-dice tank.

If Bossk gets shot before he can shoot the attacker can spend Greedo's charge and get the same effect. You want him shooting first if at all possible unless he is out of the enemy's arcs.

Nope, they don't spend your charge. Simply, if your charge is active, they may change 1 hit result to a crit result, so each ship shooting you can get a free crit until you finally shoot. Bad against aces if you aren't Reinforced, but if you are, you're still drawing fire from your teammates and taking reduced damage. Only you can spend your charge as the card is written. Maybe the non-I6 Swarm Tactics setup should be Greedo + Novice Technician + Lando, Reinforce, use Lando to spend the Reinforce once it gets to your turn, then try to Technician the crits you do take?

Nice catch, I misread it. It is looking allot nicer now. Just keep an obstacle between your closest in arc corner and the target and Bossk + crew should do some good work for you. Have you thought about putting Vet turret Gunner on Kavil? It'd up the list to 196, so nearly gut the bid, but could be handy if Kavil has a target front with both arcs on (2/3 at range 2, 3/4 at range 1) or has 2 possible in range, one in each arc.

My skeleton for this is Bossk with Lando, IG, and Greedo, and Han with Swarm Tactics. Han is way stronger than Dengar, especially if your 3rd ship lets Han have the title and 0-0-0
