Since I don't play First Order and we were told we wouldn't need to purchase product that we don't play to get the cards we can use, I would like to know how to get my copy of Predictive Shot. Do I just email in and ask for it like I would for a replacement part?
How do I get my copy of Predictive Shot?
Unfortunately it doesn't work that way. You have to wait till it gets added to an expansion you want.

We were told we wouldn't have to buy outside our faction. Therefore you will have to wait until it is released in an expansion from your faction of choice, then buy that expansion.
It'll probably show up in an Aethersprite/Infiltrator box.
But
why
would you want a copy of Predictive Shot? It's terrible.
I might consider it on Seventh Sister or a generic Inquisitor, but not at 4 points when I have I3-4. The power level on this thing is on par with Marksmanship or
possibly
Predator, and should be priced as such.
eBay
So, it is allowed to use Predictive Shot outside First Order or it isn't? I think that Squad Builder allows to add this tallent improvement to any faction you need (f.ex. Darth Vader).
Proxy for now; see if you think it's good or not.

Yes, it can be used by any ship that is able to equip it.

7th sister wants Hate, and the dial is too slow to maximize PS. However, the Jedi and their double repositioning on high PS are intrigued, especially for the budget builds that can't afford either config.
Cuurently: Inky's struggle for bullseye and force strain going against pilot ability forbid it, Vader already having 3 attack dice with a lock and not needing it, Ezra is too low PS and Kanan large base with good dps, Assaj being a large base, Rey being a large base with a consistent dps, and Kylo either wanting to show people his darkside (hate) and slowly bleed or to continue goofing about with SNR (bizarrely viable on him despite it's new price tag of 2pt below Luke Gunner)--they all mean one thing. Luke pilot is the only one interested in PS until the Jedi come out, and even then, he wants to abuse perma-focus, not necessarily snipe.
I do like how we're having this conversation. 2 dice focus has 72% to hit a tokenless defender of otherwise 2+ green dice thanks to the card. And with SNR being "that one pilot's card", we can now talk about the benefits of PS, hate, and Sense.

At the end of 1.0, there were plenty of upgrades I wanted from outside my faction.
2.0 been better so far...

Yes, they say that lie in every game with separate faction expansions they have. You don't have to buy out of faction to have every upgrade legal in your faction... so long as you're willing to wait several waves.
