Wave championship (replacement for store champs) format are up to the organizer. Extended is the format recommended by FFG for these. Just saying.

I can't believe this conversation is still going. I get that you want them to explain why things were altered, but is it really that big of a deal? It wasn't just sprung on us at random. We knew things would shift, with the obvious reasons for those shifts being balance. They want each ship to be playable, and a good number really weren't at launch, but with new point values, more ships might have a place in the competitive scene. Please stop demanding notes on something that was already explained before it even happened. I don't need to know exactly why every little shift happened, all I need to know is what the new values are. I'm sorry, but you just aren't going to get a lot of support from this forum if your entire premise is that FFG forgot to hold our hands and explain the reason for literally every altered point value, so therefore X-wing is dieing due to developer negligence. It simply isn't true.

So here you go dude, if you really need the devs to explain why something was changed then here's the thread for you:
