This is looks good again, in any variation or composition. Biggs and Luke are the wingmates, and let Wedge flank and do Wedge things. I am also considering and Ion Torpedo ~ Wedge, Luke ~ Proton Torpedo combo. Red 2, Red 3 and Red 5.

I don't like Instinctive Aim.

If you use it, you don't have the Force point for re-rolls.

If you TLed instead, you have the TL and the Force Point.

Luke Skywalker has 2 Force charges, and recovers one every time he becomes a defender. If he were to use Instinctive Aim, he then still has one charge left (for said defensive or offensive mods) Then he still has the charge plus on defense if he’s targeted he gains one every time he’s the declared defender up to his limit of 2.

On Luke Skywalker is very useful.

I did not connect the dots with his defense ability, making it pretty free to use a force freely for offense.

But he doesn't get a TL with IA, he just doesn't need one, so you only get the Force (and possibly Focus, depending on your action) re-rolls.

Hrm need to do math now or find someone else whos done the math.

That’s why Instinctive Aim is so good. While you’re right about the TL. He still most likely has a focus and a minimum of 1 Force charge to use if needed as a defensive or offensive mod depending if you us the focus on defense or offense.

Correct. Plus in a list with Wedge if there primary target is the same then the defender really has survival choices to make especially if they both have Proton Torpedoes.

I've flown Luke (no IA) + Wedge + Dutch Protorp lists, and yeah, the "WHO DO I SHOOT????" is a real advantage.

I end up with Wedge with TL + Focus, Luke with TL + Force, and Dutch bringing up the rear with just a TL, if I focus on a target, it seems to work pretty well, and can just still squeak it in.
