I'm aware. I was engaging in that main discussion. The article was new, though, where otherwise I'd only seen the PDFs discussed.
Nothing new within the article, per se, but if anyone wanted to read FFG's reasoning (which is, surprisingly, largely "hey this is what actual players have been asking for.")
Huh, the article says that Advanced Sensors is scaled to initiative now which is definitely not the case.

I noticed that. Adv. Sens is 10 flat, which does price it out of some lists. A friend of mine is annoyed (to say the least) with what it did to his favorite Guri build, and what was done with the tugs and the escape craft.
Edit: now that I think of it, his list that he's been mopping the floor with me with might have just gotten priced out of use.

It scales. Just plug the initiative value into the equation:
Points = Initiative * 0 + 10
