First tournament list Veers/Boba

Hello,

I am going to my first tournamet really soon and I made a list using for it. I am hoping to get some feedback from more experience player. I only played 2 games of Legion.

Commands:
Standing Orders, Maximum Firepower, ZX Flame Projector, Evasive Maneuvers, Z-6 Jetpack Rocket, Imperial Discipline, Whipcord Launcher
I would like to play really agressive, thats why I gave Recon Intel to a lot of unit. The Sonic Charge Saboteur is here to scare my opponent to come to close to an objectif. While 2 of my stormtroopers can move forward, the other 2 will make sure to stay close to Veers.
Boba and the bikes are here for hunting (support unit) while the Sniper could provide some support fire.
For the command cards, I am unsure about Whipcord Launcher, but a 1 pip that make Boba goes first does seem good.
If you have any advice, please let me know. It will help greatly.

Played nearly identical list on wknd, but 2 sniper DLT, bikes with HQ Uplink and bigger bid with less recon.

I like it, normally a 3 bike fan myself I found Boba added some different flair and utility.

Not sure a single unit with sonic charge is worthwhile, not enough guys to denote and too fragile.

I didn't go with whipcord as felt the 1pip any unit could be more useful but don't have enough expensive there.

List looks pretty solid to me. I like whipcord launcher, it's either going to save Boba from Luke/Wookiees or you can use it to tangle up a unit before they can get to an objective. I would personally drop Z-6 jetpack rocket in favor of Assault or coordinated fire (the new 3 pip in the imperial specialist box). It's a tough sell only getting to order Boba and having to play a 3 pip and have a good chance of not having initiative.

Agreed with op. I would drop the rocket command card and add uplink to the bikes. The saboteur is a tough call. You are going to need line of sight blocking and still be able to have line of sight to arm it. The white defense dice doesn't help either. Good luck and I like your list.

Thanks for the advice, but why going for HQ Uplink? Veers 2 pip card is wasted if this guys use their HQ Uplink, and they might be to far from Veers to get order without Long range comlink (or I am missing something)

As for the command card, I will drop the rocket for the Assault card, I didn't get my specialist boxe yet because, it's the prize of the tournament, so I don't own the new command card.

HQ uplink allows you to exhaust the card and issue an order to yourself. So I think his command card would still be viable just not anywhere on the table.

HQ Uplink allows veers to use the command card and the bikes just order themselves anywhere on the table and get free dodges if outside of veers command range. If within range then don't need to use HQ. So no different to long range comms.

However

HQ is handy because you can effectively order yourselves anytime anywhere once before refresh regardless of what command card is used. So you could pop his 1 pip max firepower and order the bikes to have full control of a big preemptive strike.
