Ah yes, the thinking man's response to beating things - just shoot it. I believe similar advice was used to great effect to stop triple-jumps when they had a single flavour of the week. I mean, that really takes the cake for stupid... When the bombers have 5 hull and 2/3 defence dice, it's kind hard to take one out before 4/5 of them shoot you with fully modded torps. I'm about 50/50 against bombers, but I'm glad you have better success. I

Irregardless of my ability to win or lose against an alpha-strike list (and that can be any faction - 3 rebel X's fall into a similar category) the game itself isn't fun. It's just roll dice, and little else. Get the approach right and you might win, get it wrong and you lose. Not a fun game.

You are going to be unhappy. That's a very selective group of cards you listed and there's plenty of other things that are clearly undercosted. Proton torpedoes are the single most used card in the game (more so even than S-Foils!). In the past the devs haven't looked favourably on cards that are a no-brainer choice for an upgrade slot.

I'm expecting everyone to be equally UNhappy. No one will be able to accuse FFG of being anything but fair and balanced.
