Deciphering blurry text

By Prosk_019, in X-Wing

So I'm probably over-hyped for the Sith Infiltrator at this point, someone calm me down.

I've been trying to interpret the text in the reveal images of the upgrade cards in a couple articles and I think I've been more successful than I expected.

I'll put my suggestions in [square brackets], of course I could only decipher the text that was 'visible' so there will be numerous gaps.

This is one of the things I've found:

Count Dooku (Pilot) - After you defend, if the attacker is [in your firing arc], you may spend 1 force to... 1 of your [BLUE] or red tokens...

After you perform an attack... may spend 1 force to perform [whatever who cares]

So off the bat, I'm thinking cloak token. Is the game ready for such cloaking shenanigans (all over again)? Am I over-thinking things? WHAT COULD HE POSSIBLY WANT TO DO WITH A CLOAK TOKEN?! I have a hypothesis involving my interpretation of the other droid pilot on the expected power level of this ship, if anyone is curious.

Discard it so he could shoot...

It certainly makes sense for the initiative but it just seems so **** powerful! Like, it's reminiscent to me of 1.0 Tie Phantoms so I just basically shut out the possibility in my mind initially.

It does kinda balance out having to get them in arc at I3 though.

Like I said, I'm likely overreacting

Maybe it's when defending, he can spend a Force token to discard a blue or red token, and after attacking, he can spend a Force token to perform a Cloak action. This could be pretty powerful, but exactly how powerful would depend on how much Force he has. It's also somewhat offset by the fact that the opponent can control whether or not they attack Dooku, so if Dooku has a shot lined up and a Cloak token, just don't fire at him that turn.

If that is what the text says, it'll be a fun and useful ability, but I wouldn't say it's overpowered just yet.

So my interpretation of the pilot that seems to be a droid is:

After you defend, you may spe[nd 1] calculate token to perform a[n] [attack/action].

My thinking was that if Dooku interacted with cloak tokens the way I thought he did, then the droid would kind of be stepping on his toes if he performed an action instead of an attack. And it wouldn't be any specific action because it's 'an' and not 'a' [target lock action], for instance.

He also might be stepping on maul's toes a bit if it's an attack, but it all hinges on if I'm seeing an 'n' where there isn't any

I was searching back for that French preview picture that popped up of some Infiltrator stuff, but alas it only showed Maul and a generic, no Dooku Pilot.

That said, Grievous is a crew on Dooku's Quickbuild card. First I've seen anything about a Grievous crew :D
