I wrote to congress to get her the title of The Fabulous Teri and get an annual federal holiday named after her because her rebels video's done more to interest me in painting than anything else in the last 5 years. But she's a Canadian so no-go. So I just bought her book instead.

Though to be honest after all these decades of painting stormtroopers even her version of them is too much work for me, I'm DONE with basic stormtroopers. My not-Hoth imperial army is gonna squeak by with 3 squads of corps indefinetly.

Wait who is this Teri? Should I write my MP? Seriously link me up please. I should do at least one squad in parade square white to balance the 1934 Italian camouflage squad and the battleship or panzer grey squad.

Teri Litorco. She wrote The Civilized Guide to Tabletop Wargaming and she does awesome Legion painting videos that a new person can handle much better than a lot of what's out there. Even though I'm far from a beginner, her videos helped me get past some scale-creep issues. Also probably saved me wasting time singly painting my spare heavies for color tests.

I found this video back when I started Legion, via BoardgameGeek. Thusly was I introduced to Her Majesty The Awesomeness.

Now, I've been painting for a very long time. So I do not use the paints she does. However, I recently timed myself and in terms of actual brush-in-hand time, I painted a full squad of rebel troopers in her Hoth scheme in 44 minutes. Well, my slight variation on it anyways. I've painted a total of 3 core sets worth now. I'm thinking of selling some of those off to make room for other rebels but that's another story.

2nd squad ready....feels like some improvements, particularly helmet lines....dark recesses between armour mix of nuln oil and dab of black.

Holding the brush as close to your fingers as possible made a huge difference.

No more stormies until arrival of core set!
