Would this work? I've been really really itching to fly some E-wings with their changes, and realized I could U-Turn for days using white 1-turns and Daredevil with Cassian stripping stress off of Gavin to set up his ability for 3 ships with 3-strength attacks guaranteeing that first hit being a crit.

It could work, I am trying to make this exact Gavin work myself. The biggest problem is his Initiative. But the R4 daredevil combo makes him very fun to fly. And his dial has so much blue

I'm actually a fan of the mid-range initiatives; it poses more of a challenge to be an ace, but also gives you plenty of opportunities to block depending on what you are up against. If it's a low init swarm, you will get to play ace, if you are up against aces, you end up playing a mini-blocking-swarm. Just knowing what you are up against should change your decision making.

The only change I WISH I could make (fingers crossed for Jan 28th) would be to add an advanced sensors upgrade to Cassian. This way I could hit the brakes and drift/u-turn the U-wing while still attempting a coordinate. As it stands right now, I'd have to give up 6 points worth of upgrades somewhere to make it fit, and removing the daredevil(s) and/or FCS(s) kinda neuters the E-wings. They are a joy to fly in this current set up, though, you are not wrong

I hope the points change will allow an upgraded e-wings to be more viable without costing the earth

My only question is if there are enough mods to go around?

Came up with something similar with the new points:

total: 200/200

Collect 2 locks on turn 1, slow roll into the engagement as a group, with Magva providing defense to the Es. Es get their torps off, then next turn use Leia for white k-turns to fire off the second set of torps. Magva can coordinate to help out too, or block with a red stop.

Right, but the Es should already have their 2 locks each before engaging. Unless I'm missing your point?

Added Advanced Sensors to Cassian for that sweet emergency brake action. I still have 9 points to play around with, and since Initiative 4 is as high as the list gets, should I go ahead and try to fill it in? What could help out within 9 points?
