so last december about this time FFG spanish had put what is coming out in January, well February isn't looking like anything is coming out for legion. Jyn and Pathfinders looks like they are coming in march.
Jyn and Pathfinders
Huh?
Specialists are probably January (tomorrow?).
Jyn-Pathfinders are late Feb most likely.

on the FFG spanish site they already have everything listed for February. i hope they update it and i'm wrong and i didn't mention specialist, specialist will be release the 24 for usa and 25th for the rest.
The Spanish FFG site has everything not specialists listed for 1 T(rimestre) 2019, which translated to English means 1 quarter 2019, or January through March. Which means either February or March might be a double release month. This COULD (take with huge grain of salt, I'm just theorizing here with NO evidence), mean Clone Wars releases in April? Probably just wishful thinking, but it would be a reason to rush the remaining announced GCW product out.

This might be a possibility if we get an article for CW stuff within the next couple of weeks.

I don't think we're "due" another product announcement for at least 4 weeks, so I guess we'll find out then what the next batch of releases are.

clone wars stuff won't be announce till maybe after the world qualifier in march for a june/july release date (leaning towards june). as far as the spanish sight goes i know what it means by the 1 trimestre, just they have already loaded up how the 4 weeks in february are plan for shipping as of right now. so we are looking at a double release in march which would make sense as to keep it close to world qualifier as possible to make them not available for that tournament.

Citation needed, or you're just speculating as much as I am regarding the Clone Wars release time. Anything is possible, it's not like FFG has followed even their own pronouncements regarding Legion.
Just because the Spanish site has some stuff listed in February already does not mean it can't add more, I've seen things added in the past as shipments get through customs and arrive at distribution centers.
Also, they would need to do a TRIPLE release in March to hit 1st quarter releases for everything listed as 1T (which it is possible the vehicles get delayed).

Jyn and the Pathfinders is our new band name.

Are you truly rebelllious? Truly, truly, truly rebellious?
Edited by FSDFollowing the pattern we’ve had of a monthly release, I’m guessing Feb for Jyn+Pathfinders, March for Krennic+deathtroopers.
We shall see if vehicles makes q1 or not. It’d be cool if it did, but I’m not expecting it to even if Spanish site is currently saying that.
Clone Wars? I have guesses but I’d be happy with an announcement sooner rather than later. Wanting to see if they do a new core or if they do essential mini starters or how that goes down.
Clone wars stuff will probably be released sometime between October - December for the holidays. It will be all Ot stuff for the rest of the year is my bet.

FFG is mildly notorious for missing holiday releases though, and it's possible the release of Clone Wars stuff for the three miniature games is related to Disney releasing another season of the Clone Wars cartoon on their streaming service, Disney+, which is supposed to start service earlier this year than Q4.

I tend to agree. I’m guessing first look at the minis will be Adepticon or GenCon, depending on how long they want to keep the hype train going

This guy gets it. Also would like to point out it was stated monthly released were only guaranteed for the first year so we could see a tapering off.
And as for clone wars stuff I expect it at least a water later than the general population will assume

Out of curiosity, where was that stated? I have heard 2-3 years of monthly releases were planned previously. Still, I wouldn't be surprised if it started tapering off once the Clone Wars factions "catch up." Or a lul in releases between the release of the last (for now) GCW release and the start of the CW releases.
Remember that Alex Davy also heavily implied if not outright stated in a video interview that commanders would always be named characters, and yet this month's releases include generic commanders.

Davy said that the game was character-centric, which many misinterpreted. The implication wad clearly that they wanted characters to be at the fore, but that this philosophy wasn't completely exclusionary to the existence of non-characters.
I'd expect at least a prerelease of the initial batch if clone wars at Gencon based on how they've done things in the past and the number of releases the GCW factions would have if the current schedule stayed steady.
I'll believe that nothing is going to be released in February when it's the first of March and nothing was released in February.

In another video I believe he stated/implied that the best way to ensure players took characters was to make them Commanders which every army is required to take. Now, I admit it could be reading more into things than was meant by either comment, but a lot of the early media really drove home the "character" aspect of Legion. However, as of today it is possible to field two armies against each other with absolutely no named characters on the board. I'm not saying that's a BAD thing, just that the game doesn't feel "character driven" to me when there are perfectly effective non-character builds.
Regardless, this seems to further prove my point. I am having difficulty finding where FFG specified an end date for Legion's monthly releases. The press release I found regarding monthly releases simply states "monthly releases," not "for the first year" or "first two years," just "monthly releases." It's possible that online rumour mills added the limitation, just as it is possible for FFG to decide to change the release schedule on a whim.
If someone has a reference for the cutoff date on monthly releases, I'd appreciate being linked to it so I can be better informed.

As the initial release of Legion was March of last year, I could also see FFG releasing a "new core set" as the introduction for the GAR/CIS at basically any random point.
I wouldn't expect Clone Wars expansions for any FFG game until season 7 is released or a release date is announced. Celebration in April will likely see a ton of announcements, like the name of episode IX, and licensees jumping on the hype with new products. I would expect new faction starters, like X-Wing, not a whole new core. Grievous, 2 clankers and a support or Kenobi, 2 Clone squads and a support.
Dates to watch: Celebration Chicago April 11-15, May 4th, tenth anniversary of Clone Wars Movie August 15, and the aforementioned cons. Remember FFG is part of a bigger marketing/product strategy and the official Star Wars site and YouTube channel are only focusing on Resistance.

Honestly only the force awakens got tie in products from FFG on time.

Except wave 3 of X-wing 2.0 is currently in preorders, due out this quarter.... and consists entirely of Clone Wars era ships.
Also, unlike X-Wing, Legion requires a lot more boxes to get started (Commander, 3 corps at minimum, more than that to hit 800), and the starter kit is much more expensive than X-wing's (nearly twice the price). Just to get the generic orders cards which cannot be purchased any other way. As you said, I'd be surprised if FFG didn't at least release the same kind of "Army Starter" boxes as they did for Runewars, especially as I've heard more than a few people express no interest in playing Legion until the Clone Wars armies are released. But it's also possible they opt for another starter box, much like they did in X-Wing 1.0 when they added FA ships.

I could see it go either way with Clone Wars in Legion honestly. Core set like the GCW one would be neat, and allow for the “double core” value. On the other hand, they could split it up so that you’re not on the hook to getting more barricades, dice, and templates if you have them already from the original core - newcomers can buy those separately easy enough and old timers don’t need them.
I’m not committing 100% to any second faction until I know how it’s going to pa out. My thematic side wants to just start buying Rebels when I can to build up a loaner army that way (and tough to do when I’ve traded my core set Rebel army away so it’s going to be slow and expensive without good sales), but if there’s a quick and easy high value for the dollar way to get a prequel army up I may do that instead.
I can virtually guarantee that if they do “army starters” with 2x Corp, a support and a commander and it’s priced as competitively as the half a core set it represents, I’m very likely to buy two for one prequel faction.

And I'll probably be among those who buy 2 of each, since my collecting itch for Star Wars miniatures in this scale s such that I want to enough t ofield any army, and have one of each expansion. I know I'm more fortunate than many in that I have that luxury.
I sort of hope any new half cores come with the templates and dice since otherwise you can end up with new players buying the GAR/CIS box, and not be able to play until they can find a set of dice and templates that aren't sold out (assuming they can't borrow dice and templates, or buy spare templates from someone who bought multiples of the original core). Besides, dice would be added value even for some of the old timers, and spare templates are great in case of breakage or loss.
Personally, I’d hope to see them do a second core set, so that those who have no interest in OT army combat but would love Clone Wars Battles on their table aren’t roped into buying a $100 box set of minis they’ll never use just for some of the rules, cards and accessories.
For a core set value, it’s not like us existing players would whine overbuying another core instead of starter faction boxes- how many of us bought 2 of the original core, again?
