FFG and EA games collaboration?

By Ijedaii, in News

What are the chances of FFG collaborating with EA games(as they have video game rights) to come out with some mobile versions of the Star Wars boardgames? I would love to see Armada or any of the card games, or Rebellion as a mobile game app. I understand FFG is loyal to the boardgame concepts, but people like me buy your games in hopes of playing, but there's not alot of people around me dedicated enough to learn complex mechanics let alone willing to spend the time to play a game that can take hours. I would even be willing to buy the boardgame as a requirement to play the mobile version if that's what it takes.

Also, I was hoping long ago that a RPG video game would have come out by now using the FFG RPG game mechanics. Following a tradition like KOTOR and wizard of the coast's rpg d20 system.

While I'm sure there's alot of people out there perfectly happy with how things are, I will always have a difficult time to find an event to go to, or find enough time to dedicate the hours every week needed to join casual groups between work and kids.

Mobile apps like that doesn't exist I know, this would really be a game changer competing with hearthstone or catan.
