Kind of tempted to get this. Relieves me from the stress of trying to think of how to set up the bases. Are these legal?

If they're the same dimensions they should be legal yes. Though clear bases have their own visual issues. They aren't a perfect solution but some people prefer them.

To be completely legal, with no possibility of a TO saying "No," they have to be perfect dimensional duplicates of the FFG bases, including height. TOs do have some discretion as to what is "close enough," but that just means some TOs might allow those bases and others might not.
Personally, I think that a clear base the height of Legion's normal bases would look more than a little odd on any non-repulsor miniatures, since the feet would be floating even higher off the ground than usual.

Hmm. True.
Do yourself a favor and get premade grass tufts. They come in all different colors and you can even get wildflowers. A super simple sand covered base with a few tufts will look better than any clear base. Don't worry about matching every table. Match whichever one you will play on the most and call it good!

Any idea where I could find that?
There is a company called leadbear that makes them. I believe woodland scenics makes them as well and you can find them at hobby lobby. They come in sheets like cake decorations.

+1 to this. Or you can just make a base that matches the theming of your army (which is more commonly an "issue" for Rebel players, and those Imperial players not going for screen accurate). So forest camouflage miniatures on forest bases, snow camouflage on tundra/snow, etc. I view my bases as a sort of mini diorama for my army.
