I am thinking about flying rebels at a local tournament in the near future. I really enjoy flying B wings and using bombs so I added a Y wing to the list. Then I thought Gavin would be a good add to give the team some extra firepower... Any thoughts? My biggest concern is that I am flying two I4 pilots and that may not hold up against Aces.

Your list looks pretty solid as is.

When I fly Norra, I often find I need some kind of modifier for her second attack.

Usually I keep the turret pointed forward to get a double tap on a single target unless I'm being chased. If you could get a 1 or 2 point talent like Crackshot/Marksmanship/Predator you can take a Focus action & likely use the Talent ability if you're up close and personal as Norra likes to do and save the Focus for the Ion attack or defense. Of course, it's situational but I just wanted to pass on my experience with Norra.

I like to keep the turret facing forward too. Being able to hit and then ion in front of you is huge. I was thinking about switching Gavin for another B wing with Braelyn Stramm, shield upgrade, debris gambit, and tracor/ion cannon. That would leave more points for a bid and a talent for Norra, but I feel like then the team doesnt have as much punch and is more of a damage sponge. But running two B wings with ion cannons and ion turret on Norra makes for a lot of ion.

I did that! Braylen & Ten with Norra. It IS a damage sponge, but they dish it out pretty well too.

Squad leader is pretty handy and Chopper likes to turn unused bomb charges into shields.

As good as Elusive is for Ten Numb, I’ve enjoyed Debris Gambit as an alternative. It gives the stress his ability needs and it guarantees you one evade as opposed to a reroll for a chance at one.

Would you say both Ten and Braylen work better with debris gambit? I always liked elusive because it doesnt require using an action, just a red move. But Braylen already gets rerolls with stress...

I put it on both with my BBYY list. It’s a little more challenging with Braylen because his ability doesn’t spend the stress like Ten’s does. But it gives you the stress to trigger his ability so that’s going to happen either way.

That makes sense. Have you flown B wings with anything else? I have only with Norra in a Y so far.

Braylen+Ten+Jan+AP-5 isn't a bad combo.

Nope, just two generic y-wings loaded out with turrets and some upgrades. It’s just a lot of health and the ships can move pretty well together. But I’m less creative than most on here.

I see. I wanna make the Wookie ship work with a B wing and maybe a Y but havent came up with a good build yet. I have a decent one with an X and an E but not with a B wing.

Low and AP-5 can support the B-Wings nicely. Low can give a second evade to a B if it gets in trouble or to help keep AP-5 alive. AP can do some funky things. Maybe coordinate a white evade to a B-Wing next to a rock, but then the B-Wing can move and still do a linked BR/focus to utilize its ability. Or AP can coordinate a BR to the B-Wings and collision detector can expand your movement options.

I like that a lot, but dont have a sheathipede. But I came up with this...
