So we just got the core set and my wife wants the Horrific Journeys x pack. Will this work or do we need to get the stuff in order? Thanks
Which x pack to get after core set?
You can start with any expansion really. as they all add great content to the core set.
A common alternative is the Streets of Arkham expansions as it adds more tools which help you ( improvement tokens, psoitive status effect, powerful investigators)
They can be done in any order - we got Beyond the Threshold and Horrific Journeys.
We wish they would reprint and restock quicker - we really want to get Streets of Arkham and the 1st edition figure and tile collections but there's no stock anywhere in the UK.

Dark Sphere in London have Suppressed Memories in stock for about 40 quid including postage. Ordered mine on Wednesday, should be arriving tomorrow.

If you want to paint everything and not the biggest painter you should first get the small expansions with little miniatures. The figures should already be worked on, so that they are firmly on the base and look for something. So far, I have painted Beyond the Threshold and the basic game. Shrine of Dawn also ordered, I will throw in between other goals in February. I'm waiting for the new extensions, which appear this year to me still deciding correctly..what will get me yet.

Out of interest icabod, did you get your copy of Suppressed Memories ? Because I had a look on their website and it showed it needed to be ordered in. This happened to me last month with Element Games in Stockport I ordered it on the website as it said it was available but 3 weeks later I was still waiting so I emailed them and they apologised and said their supplier didn’t have it in stock and couldn’t provide an expected restock date. So I had to get a refund.

Yes, it arrived yesterday.
The website is confusing if you're doing mail order... The site said there was dispatch stock in Shepherds Bush, but in the cart it said it needed to be ordered in. I checked and it actually needed to be shipped from one location (Shepherds Bush) to the mail order place, then on to me.
Took an extra day.
The box wasn't in great condition, but the contents were fine.
