T47 scheme

By Cpt. Rvsl, in Painting

Picked up T47 but wish to avoid Hoth inspired paintjob. Instead going for forest camo similar to Miniwargamerjay video.

Any suggestions appreciated.

You might take some inspiration from Cold War-era MiGs and F-4 Phantoms, which were occasionally painted in woodland patterns.

I recommend only a partial look - grey on the underside, camo pattern on the dorsal side, which will help it look like a cohesive vehicle rather than a blob of camo.

Could always do this...

My VCX-100s and Lancers for Armada are painted like RAF night bombers. With a green/brown camo up topa and black on the bottom. You could websearch camo patterns and choose one you like.

I've always been partial to this:

The black green and grey greens with squad marking is just seems really cool.

The understated drab showing off the vehicle's natural lines also comes off well.
