Ummmm,,, I don't know about everybody but this is just to good to pass up T4-5. It's stats are kinda good being a 4/2 +3 block 3h 5dmg but the two checks kinda scaring me right now but all and all it's pretty good.

Taken from James's second preview . Yeah, it's pretty darn mean. It makes me want to think up some stupid combo that yields 10 foundations a turn or something. After it resolves, return it to your hand for added effect with Mentally Unstable on Air. That seems to be the most efficient way to return it to your hand in Block 3 thus far, so I guess FFG is doing something right.

This is the type of card that I like to see printed as a rare and not as an uncommon or a SR. If there are more cards printed like this, then there may yet be hope for small-time collectors.

I'm still not 100% with this card. Air dosent need it, how many other devistating kill cards does it already have that are more efficent earlier on. Both all and death did need a kill card of sorts but without its multiple 1 i feel like both symbols would be better off using something that had a 3 check or did more damage. Factor into that the fact that a person knowing you have it out would be smart to play against it and NOT put a billion of the same foudnation into play and im not sure how great it really will wind up being.

From what I understand of the card's templating, if you and I have a total combined of 2+ of the same foundation, it gets +1 damage. This does not improve with more of that foundation (though it does if we have 2+ of 3 foundations, in which case it gets +3 damage). Right?

Question: If the attack is multipled but the enhance is negated, does the Multiple copy get the enhance? b/c the text that says multiples have the enhance is in the enhance portion itself. Wouldn't negating it on the first one stop the multiple from getting the E?

Respectivly: No. Yes.

If you forget to enhance, or your enhance is negated the multiple won't get the enhance, because it's not a seperate continuous ability.

this card is what death needs. i like it. night terror just got a kill card.

I must say this card is probably gonna be a staple for death/wind.

I'm just going to say that Remy will love this off of All with Kanzukiryuu Kakutojutsu. +1 to all ratings? Yes, plz.

The only problem is its a Remey multiple one so you cant utilize it so for air I would still run feline spike and all still run reppa it might be ok in death though .

Two reasons I wouldn't imediately go with shin shoryuken over supreme rising raging flash.

First due to the keyword ability. If you're not Remy the keyword ability isn't there, thus not targetable by bitter rivals.

Second 4 difficulty as opposed to 7. Makes Supreme a bit more easy to play, and is also less devestating when you flip one when trying to play it.

Flip a Shin to play one and you're commiting 5 at a minimum. Flip a Supreme to play a Supreme and you need 3 at a minimum.

True if you have plenty of momentum Shin can be more adventageous to play. Its more of a risk vs reward thing. To me Supreme Rising Raging Flash simply has a better risk vs reward ratio than Ryu's Shin Shoryuken.

If I could find a copy of the TR, it seems to me there was a clause that covered this specific problem. Unfortunately, it's not in the Rules forum and I can't remember where else to look. :x

*sigh* well than, we better get some rules clarification out promptly in order to clean up any, "OH NO, I don't understand this ruling" spooge. TBH though, it would seem pretty darn harsh for someone to be penalized for a Keyword they are not using. But them might be the breaks.

Unto the discussion at hand.

SRRF is an interesting card to say the least. On it's own, it could probaly do some deadly stompings to your proverbial cranium. Combined with KR off of all and we are looking at a deadly flurry of multiple love that has E's worth playing and if not negateed could lead to a bitter ending. In short, cool card. Let's have some fun. Let's just hope this doesn't become as hard to get as Feline Spike. (Oh how i wish I had at least 1. Than a whole set.)

And the relevant wording from the tournament rules:

400.9 Some abilities will be preceded by a character name. In order to play these abilities, your character card’s name and the character name before the ability must match. If a card has a keyword preceded by a character name it only counts as having that keyword if the player is playing the named character.

So only Remy gets to play the Multiple ability that's built in. However if someone has a way of adding multiples to the card, game on.

Well... I don't usually expect to be able to play an attack string then Ryu's Shin Shoryuken, just because of the 7 in the upper-left corner. A Bitter Rivals during your opponent's aggro will be bad for you, I suppose, but I don't think that is really a gamebreaking proposition tbh. RSS still has a much easier damage potential without nearly as much work.
