The scene is after order 66 and the Clones have turned on the Wookies and are hunting survivors.

You can also see them before order 66 on the beach.
There they are. Nice!
So I know that there is a thin line between "prediction" and "wishlist" but here are some of my wishes that I could plausibly actually see them doing.
Corps:
-Rebel: Hoth Troopers, Partizans
-Imp: Navy Troopers, Shoretroopers
Support:
-Rebel: Tauntaun Cavalry
-Imp: Probe Droid
Special Forces:
-Rebel: Honor Guard
-Imp: Inquisitors

I’d rather see an inquisitor or two (preferably Seventh Sister and/or Fifth Brother) as operatives. (IA already got the Grand Inquisitor, and I’d love to have the opportunity to paint characters I haven’t already done...)
Seeing as we don’t have nearly enough operatives to fill the operative allotment for standard armies, there’s plenty of room to make more, especially seeing as we only have unique operatives, so it’s not like you’re going to put Boba Fett and Boba Fett into your list... more options would be nice.
i like to see named character that could be played as officer or operative like Lando or jyn should have been
or like i am not sure on imperial side but there dose not have to be one.

They could always do the Inquisitors as a generic Operative unit with you being able to take the Grand Inquisitor, Seventh Sister, or Fifth Brother as a heavy weapons upgrade that shifts their focus a little like how the new special forces packs coming out are adding unique characters as heavy weapon options.

The Empire has a fair few they could add.
Commander: Tarkin, Thrawn, Agent Kallus, Admiral Piet (Unlikely but is a recognizable option), Soontier Fel (Noncannon, but is in Rebellion and could work with a pilot release), and General Tagge to list a few.
Operative: Inquisitors, Rukh, ESB Bounty Hunters (even if I'd prefer they didn't), and Triple Zero and BT-1.
Operatives are a little harder for the Empire to think about than the Rebels who have tons of potential named characters to pull in to the game.

Iden Versio could easily fit as an operative, though I could also see FFG releasing here with the rest of Inferno squad as an SF team. Heck, they could do both, with Iden as an operative, and Inferno Squad as an SF team, with Hask or Del Meeko as named heavy weapons upgrades.
My prediction (hope) for 2019 = RT and C3P0.
I can't believe nobody else on this thread has pick these yet. They are the only 2 characters that span every Star Wars movie so far!

I actually thought I did, though that turned out to be another thread about predictions for the year. I definitely see them releasing them and I hope they will do it such that they do it as a Rebel and Republic release.
tauntaun and dewback…….dragoon infranty units of tauntaun und dewback!!
I distinctly remember several legion promos saying "Creatures" so I hope that's this year.

Wampa and rancor would be pretty sweet.

I know a lot of people like random "creatures," but I really hope they're not included. While I'll generally agree that the OT/PT monsters felt like part of the movie, Disney's attempts have come off as hamfisted and tacked on. I'm afraid introducing creatures into Legion would have the same feel, with them serving no real point, being a nuisance, and, of course, breaking "my immersion."
And by monsters, I mean stuff like Rancors, Ackleys, and hentai tentacle monster 1138, not tauntauns or dewbacks. I'm meh on tautauns/dewbacks, but they don't irritate me as much as the monsters.

you missed the point one character that could be operative or commander so they have two cards. like example lando the operative or lando the general

I think that Kallus could fit the bill

They weren't in Solo
I would love to see them in the game as a really unique Operative team. Both con-combatants but with really nice support abilities. A few of their command cards could allow R2 to make special 'attacks' with his shock arm or squirt oil everywhere and light it on fire with his jets

Agreed, as well teamwork abilities. R2-D2 teamwork Luke, and C3-P0 teamwork either chewie or Leia
I suspect that the Clone Wars starter pack will be
Anakin
2 Units of Clone Troopers
1 vehicle
Ahsoka (Operative)
Vs
Dooku
2 Units of Battle Droids
1 vehicle
Ventress (Operative)
I also suspect we will see an Obi-Wan and Grevious commander pack fairly soon after. Along with maybe an Arc Trooper and Super Battle Droid specialist pack.

I would suppose the operatives would be sold separately, since they didn't do the same for the original starter.
I would also suspect some Heavy to be released shortly thereafter, that way you could fill out your non-corps units.

Do we know if it will herald a reboot of the core game? There might not be a starter pack, just a bunch of expansions that drop all at once.
For Runewars, which was an original IP but otherwise fairly similar to Legion's design scheme (being before Legion), when they added more factions, they offered "Army Expansions" which are basically in price and content like half a core set - plus with X-Wing new factions traditionally get a core's worth of ships and upgrades (though not dice, templates etc). So we don't know for sure, but we can hope they offer a self-contained starter kit for the factions.

Yeah, I wouldn't expect an Operative in a core/faction starter set. I expect they'll release Operatives much faster for the Clone Wars stuff than they did for the GCW, but I doubt they'll come in the starter.
And I really hope they don't turn ARC troopers into a "specialist pack." SF at the very least, preferably, one mini released as an Operative.
Well if I was really going to make a prediction, I'd have to look into my crystal ball:
I see... a bicycle. At the Alamo, in the basement!
