Loving the unloved
I personally like Gavin over Corran.
With R4+Advance Sensors+Elusive and you have a very squirrelly ship at 81 points. Maybe you put a torp on him, but he's expensive enough as it is.
Your list looks like it would be fun though.
Oh and with the spare points, you can put Chopper+Elusive on either the ARC or the X and you have Regen on your shield every other turn when Chop steals the Elusive charge.
Edited by Force MajeureCool, Heres another list with nothing but E-wings! It might lack activations but I think the dodge/evade game might make it quite a resilient list (with some areas for upgrading)
Unless I am miss reading stealth device-- I read it to mean that it is effective until you take hull damage--hence the R2s who can keep the shields up.
Edited by faxx2Sadly once you take a hit of any kind you lose your stealth device. Don't fret though, it's best on ships with a lot of green dice. Avoid putting it on one and zero green dice ships!
Edited by Force MajeureSo loosing a shield, means that you "take damage" in regard to the stealth device. Hmm so to regain stealth one couple put chopper in one of the E-wings. . .

It'd work, but is recovering your stealth device worth blowing out 2/3 of your shields?
Elusive & Stealth Device is a nice pairing, especially on a torpedo platform that wants to lurk at range 3.
R2 astromechs aren't a bad call anyway, since the E-wing is fast enough to run like heck and find somewhere safe to recover shields.
I'd wonder about giving them system upgrades, by the way - fire control isn't too critical with the E-wing's sensor rule but it's a nice-to-have, especially with Corran's double-tap, whilst collision detectors give you a lot more freedom of movement - good with only 2 fast ships on the board.
My reading of Chopper's rules seems to imply that you can use either the missiles charge, or the evasive to recharge the shield/stealth. Bellow is an updated version--not sure who i should prioritize stealth on, but currently my thinking is Gavin because his ability is buffing while prioritizing re-rolls for Corren. . . .
What do you lot think? (also is there any other unloved ships?)

You can burn a charge to recover a shield (and yes, I don't see why Elusive wouldn't work as a source of that charge - it's not recurring in that it's not got a 1-up arrow, but you have a means to recover it by doing a red move).
OR
You can spend 2 shields to recover 1 charge.
You can't move charge from one upgrade to another in a single action. Technically you can burn two charge to turn them into shields for an action each, then burn the shields to recover a charge on something else, but that takes 3 turns to pull off and probably isn't worth it.

I would up the Ion Torpedoes to Proton Torpedoes. You have 7 points going asking, so you can afford it, and with only 2 ships you can't really afford to have one ship firing nerf darts that only do 1 damage per shot.
Also, I might look at changing Corran's talent. The reason I say that is that Proton Torpedoes change 1
result to a
and anyone shooting at the same target as Gavin Darklighter also changes 1
result to a
, so do you really need a talent which changes a
third
result?
Elusive might be good - I don't think the stealth device is worth it without at least 2 ways of improving your green dice, because to get your money's worth you need to roll the bonus green die multiple times, which means completely evading at least one shot.
Crack Shot seems like a bad call on a ship you anticipate surviving a long time. Outmanoeuvre could work, but with only 2 ships, you haven't really got an 'anvil' to draw attention whilst Corran flanks. Juke is nice but you'd probably have already spent your evade by the time your bonus Initiative 0 attack rolls around.
Hmm so either elusive or i was thinking predator--to give another re-roll on the attack, or is there a hard limit on one re-roll per phase/action?

You can get multiple individual-dice rerolls on the same roll, but any given die can only ever be rerolled once. If you've already got a target lock and a fire control system, predator becomes a lot less tempting.
Of course, in theory you could junk the fire control in favour of predator (since Corran wants to bullseye people anyway) - that saves you a point and leaves your system slot free for something like Advanced Sensors, which would make him a lot more squirrely by allowing him to boost or roll before moving when bravely running away.
however, fire control does give you action economy, where you can use one Target action, to get a re-roll, a missile attack and an action of your choice (over two turns).
Hm maybe keep fire control, put dear devil and swap out R2 for an R4 for the super maneuverable E wing. . .
Put on afterburners, lone wolf, regen droid, fcs or advanced sensors. Dont get shot, if you fly well you will be rewarded. I believe you can double tap next turn you get weapons disabled token if you were shot you then regen because you can't shoot anyways.
