Ok, Sprite I understand, but isn't Dr. Pepper bottled by 7-Up?

Indeed it is, good catch.

coke/soda/pop/soda-pop can all be inter-changeably used depending on what portion of the country you are in. Coke/Coca-cola is a particular kind of coke/soda/pop/soda-pop. Sprite is a particular kind of coke/soda/pop/soda-pop. Pepsi is a kind of coke.
In my story it helps if you read the "What kind?" lines as ending with, "you idiot Yankee." Where I'm from ordering a Coke gets you a Coca-cola. Other places it gets you asked if you'd like Coke, Diet-Coke, Sprite, Dr. Pepper, et al
@Frimmel We (we, at least I do) know. Weโre just pretending to not understand because, well, we donโt really understand.
Soft drink. The answer is soft drink.

All pop is soft drinks. Not all soft drinks are pop. Iced Tea is a soft drink. Iced Tea is not pop.

Iced tea is not a soft drink. A soft drink is a fizzy drink. In addition... Australia. ๐ฆ๐บ
Crazy aussies call Sprite "Lemonade"
Since we're discussing the finer points, something I've never learned:
What's the difference between liquor and liqueur?
Any drink non-alcoholic was once referred to as "soft drink", to contrast it with an actual hard drink. "Pop" refers to soft drinks that are carbonated. I don't know what constitutes a soda exactly, but at least I have a start.

Soda and pop are the same thing when referring to drinks. And I must be getting old since I remember the Hard Drinks section of the menu at Denny's and sections at the super market (just called alcohol now) from when I was a kid...

I think the former is distilled spirits, generally having been processed at least once more after the original fermentation, while the latter is a concentrated rendering, usually not alcoholic, of fruits, berries, or beans (coffee, vanilla and cocoa are the ones that come to mind) meant as an additive in cooking, drinks and often used as filling in "fancy" chocolates. Liqueur = fancy name for sweetened syrup in my opinion.

Generally a liqueur is a sweetened liquor or flavored liquor. They tend to be lower alcohol but can also be up there with liquor. They are also sometimes called "cordials" which are different than "cocktails" as sometime cocktails are created with a liqueur.

I don't think soda really became "pop" until you started getting the drinks you'd go to a soda fountain for individually bottled. I think it refers to the sound made when taking the cap off. We've lost sight of that since we twist the caps off now and get a "hiss" or crack a can instead of a "pop" like with a bottle of champagne.

Liquor and liqueur are both distilled spirits. Brandy and cognac are distillations from fermented beverages.

Pepsi is a type of cola.
Coke is a brand name for another type of cola.
Also, it is complicated and regional:
Rabies, on the other hand, kills everyone who gets it within 10-14 days.
Not regional, not complicated.
Let's all hope @Blail Blerg simply snorted his pop/coke/soda when he saw the price tag for Wave 3.

"Just Coke."

"Coke."
"What kind of coke."
"Oh. Coca-cola."
"Do you want to super-size that?"
Do people in states where they call all soda pop, Coke go through that routine every time someone orders a coke?

I love the general humor. But at this point I gotta ask: are you, sir, biting your thumb at me? Because if not, you could probably reduce the number of direct call outs

Yep.
I don't really think Darth Meanie was trying to be snide anyway.
A lot of people generally react to slightly more ludicrous suggestions that are actually well thought out with snide remarks and laughing at the poster though and don't really stop to actually assess their givens and preconceptions, which is what well-intentioned ludicrous suggestions are. Of course the rest of the time, the ideas really are incomprehensible and fail scrutiny, and those are deliciously deserving of malice.
I mean, most people think to laugh, but concerning the fact that I DID the numbers on what I spent already, and I'm taking into account what likely will be added tot he game later, it seems a bit weird for an outsider to laugh at how my own estimate of spending is off isn't it? (I mean, like really? How know-it-all can one get?) Just gotta do more coke.

Even if I got 2 of the 3-packs, that's not nearly close to the 8 limit or 200pt limits for most of these small ships. So therefore its likely to get more of these beyond the initial. (Though I think I won't. I really don't care for getting 200/max of every ship anymore. I actually don't just buy everything)
This poster already said some of the new ships that may come.
CIS Sheathipede.(sure) Hyena(?). Geonosian Fighter(yes). Solar Sail thingy(meh). Tri Fighter(yes). Buzz Droids(meh). Epic Ship?
Naboo Starfighter(yes). Republic Y-Wing(yes). V-Wing(yes). Eta Actis-2(yes yes yes). LA-AT Gunship(yes). Acclamator Epic? Modified Corvettes or Hammerheads?
The Hyena Bomber is what he is talking about, looks like a vulture starfighter but with ordnance and bombs.
Other things as well
Cis: Ventress starfighter, Scarab starfighter, Droid Gunship?, Magnaguard starfighter, Umbaran starfighter
Republic: Twilight Freighter, Clone Z-95, Nu shuttle, Theta Shuttle, Eta shuttle, T-6 Shuttle, Naboo bomber, Naboo Police starfighter
Between legends and canon there are several ideas for the two factions.
Also, pop.
