with the new X-34 Landspeeder have armor 2 and the effect being as follows does this mean normal armor is going to change??? i'm a rebel player, i would love this. However it makes more sense that this is replicating Light armor not normal armor. just the keyword is the same with 2 different explanations.

Even if your X-34 does come under enemy fire on the way to an objective token, it remains surprisingly durable.

With Armor 2, it can cancel up to two hits while defending,

giving it a chance to weather enemy fire long enough to deliver its passengers.

I'd assume that normal armor won't be changing, the "Armor #" just makes it a weaker keyword than just "Armor." Great way to replicate a lighter armor, and possibly offers hints to how to do destructible terrain down the line.

Agreed. "Armor" is on the war machines that protect against all hits, but since this is a modified civilian speeder, it can't protect as well.

Interesting... Maybe some of the separatist droids will have armor. I would love the Battle Droids to be white dice no surge so they aren't very threatening but are tougher to kill than "meatbags".

For B1s, I hope not. They're pretty fragile in both the movies and lore, so they should just be cheap cannon fodder. The B2s, however, definitely should get Armor 1 or 2, and Droideckas even better.

I hope droids come no defense dice but more model count for a horde feel. Killing 10 will still take lots of dice and be on par with a 6 man team with white dice. B2s should definitely have armor 1 or 2 to show some strength and droideckas would be cool with new shielding rule that provides cover but cancels sharpshooter and not blasts. Which would make sense to why boba has blast weapon while still sporting sharpshooter 2.

armor = armor infinite

armor 2 = armor 2

armor 1 = armor 1

no problem.
