Tabletop Admiral updated.

Not sure what the new upgrade slots on the landspeeder will be called though. "WeaponThing" it is, for now.

One is the Rodian with the rifle, and the other is the Twilek with the rocket launcher, so "Crew", maybe?

The fact that both of these vehicles are Transport: Open also implies that there is another type of Transport in the future that may not pass the wounds on to the units it is carrying.

LAAT/i, hopefully.

Note that the speeder is a Light Transport, while the tank is a Transport - it can carry a whole unit.

Yeah cause the rebels didn’t need to transport a trooper unit or anything.😏🙄

I was hoping the first unit that could move other units would give the 1.4 Laser Cannon a lift, guess not. ☹️

You win. Crew it is.

Not sure if that would be too big of a model (like the AT-AT).

Also here’s a livestream of my wallet.

the rebel scum are using technicals now.

Well the one / one damage for troops inside the vehicle really hurts the Rebels only. The tank has armor AND red defense dice. Very slim chances to take it down

I’m going to need more magnets. 😁🧲

Wedge can be equipped to the X-34 and it looks like Ryder can go in a T-47.

Wedge is the Correllian drift king.

Honestly even though the minis a GREAT and I'll love to paint them, the game is going to get further unbalanced towards the IMPs.

For one thing, the vehicle has to be WOUNDED to take an Ion token, and getting a wound through Armour and Red defence will be difficult. You'll need two crits (possible with a side shot making it Impact 2) on average to push through one damage and place an Ion token. If the tank took the Dodge action, you'll be obligated to target it with the whole squad and not just the Ion trooper to get those two hits to convert, which is probably better anyway to hunt crits/ensure hits. Even red dice miss occasionally.

In order to completely take away the actions, you'll need to consistently place 2 Ion tokens after the last activation but before it's next. Which will also mean loosing one activation on your ion squads to "Refresh" every turn. All the Empire player needs to do is suppress the Ion units, which means you won't be able to fire them on their next activation.

Edit: Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised to see Rebel "vanguard" added with the option of taking a rocket launcher.

Disagree.

They really gave Luke's landspeeder quite the hood ornament.

And both vehicles ripped right out of the movies. 😂😂😂

Tow cable *cough cough"

Now we know why the designers added the MPL-57 ion rifle to the rebel trooper box. Both vehicles will bring a huge change to the meta and how army lists are built. I think this change will affect rebel lists far more than imperial ones as stormtrooper squads can still react to the X-34 with DLTs while rebels will have to choose between the less than ubiquitous Z-6 or the ion rifle.

Yep It will make the Rebel players life pretty much harder than it already is. The game seems to be getting more unbalanced towards the Imps

Disagree.

He drifts a CR-90 in Wraith Squadron, I think he wins still.

Which also requires the target taking a wound, except with at most one red dice against a red defense die, and the hit can be cancelled by a Dodge if it wasn't a natural crit. Plus the TX225 has a free pivot prior to a move, so the tow cable isnt an effective counter. And it means taking the T-47, which generally is not considered the most effective Rebel unit given the prevalence of Impact in Empire armies, in addition to the "no overhang" recent clarification.

Red defence armour means on average you'll need 16 crits to destroy it, making it an absolute BEAST.

If the tank becomes prevelant, I think we might start seeing more AT-RT laser cannons in Rebel lists, or overcharged 1.4 FDs (depending on local table terrain).

Which is thematic for the films, but not necessarily the best for competitive play.

Is no one else excited about the free terrain from the tank? That's like free barricades. Or maybe they're light terrain.

That is so cool .......aaaaaand now I want one for my rebels. Just put two of these MLRS on a Sorosuub V-35 Courier landspeeder:

?rt=GetFile&uri=!!FWYD39DNPP&type=0&inde

Or better yet a double launcher on a Mobquet A-1 Deluxe and call it a good'un:

What else could they really use that has any screen time?

I'm curious to see the customization options for the TX-225. In the 360, it shows a different top gunner and pilot sticking his head out, and the painted one has the turret just sitting there with the top pilot just looking out. And, I wonder what the Kyber crystals will do, I hope they ( although unlikely) give us a new objective to use the kyber crystals in, maybe like the Imps have to escort them and the Rebels have to ambush them. ( Rogue One level stuff)

I love to see this too. But I'm sure a lot of the people on the board would like to see this. Sure it's wish listing, but I'd love to see the kyber crystal cases available in a new objectives box set separately. So this way we could get extra kyber cases...

To be fair, it has Weak Point on the sides and the side arcs are huge, so it probably takes less than it seems like it does to bring down. Also, Luke probably still beats it pretty hard.
