BogenHafen has moved

By Nostromo, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

I could be wrong but i think bogenhafen has moved since 1st edition. If you look on the map in the 3rd edition core rulebook (one of the last pages) it is SOUTH of Altdorf. But if you look on the map in the enemy within campaign it is NORTH of Altdorf.

IT seems pretty significant...anyone know why this has moved?

I have never seen a map placing Bogenhafen north of Altdorf. I haven't seen all the Enemy Within maps, but the foldout hex map, "The Reikland And the Barren Hills", from Death on the Reik clearly places Bogenhafen south and west of Altdorf. If memory serves (I'll admit I could be wrong), the hex map from Shadows Over Bogenhofen shows the same thing. I'm curious to know which map you're referring to.

I am pretty sure Bogenhafen is static; at least in all the maps I have seen. However, I have seen several maps that don't use the standard orientation of North=Top... What map are you looking at?

I just checked those 1st edition maps as well and they all show Bogenhafen in the South / West direction in relation to Altdorf. I'm curious too, to which map you're referring to.

Maybe the new map shows the location of "Neue Bögenhaven". That would certainly be applicable to my campaign, in which the original Bögenhaven was completely destroyed and replaced with a demon-spewing chaos vortex.

Please refer to the town as Bogenhafen. It is too much for us europeans to here about were Gayharbour is located. :P

I am delighted to hear that my group wasn't the only one destroying Bögenhafen.. :)

What did you do in your campaign with the destroyed town / vortex, Olemak? I am still wonderin what I will offer the players if they ever decide to return. Maybe it has been taken care of by the imperial army. Any ideas worth sharing would be appreciated.

Thanks & Best

Steffen

You guys are right, i clearly can't read a map...the whole north is to the right threw me off :)
