So I‘m not into FO but curious about the new Force Powers „Hate“ and „Predictive Shot“. Can anybody share his experience so far? Are they useful?

Well I have had a tiny bit of success with my “Hate” build... on Kanan.
So 🤷♂️

You're using 'Hate' on Kanan?
@Stoneface with Maul upgrade and Ezra it works.

Yup.
And then you have four force points, so Hate is suddenly pretty useful, especially with so much health.
The best wingman so far has been Luke, because if you can get your opponent to shoot at Luke, you just use Kanan’s ability, which pretty much negates their attacks when paired with Luke’s ability. And then when Kanan has 4 empty Force charges, it makes him a little more intimidating to shoot at, lest you proc Hate.
It’s not great, but I’m hopeful the VCX will get cheaper, without any of the upgrades getting too much more expensive. It’s really fun when it works.

I keep forgetting about the Maul+Ezra combo. This is interesting.

Ok, now I'm a little confused. No matter how I put them together I'm exceeding the 200 point limit. How are you building this squad?

Were you thinking Ezra as a pilot? That might not work, yeah, but Gunner Ezra does. Not much room for upgrades, no, but like I said I'm hoping at least the VCX goes down a touch.
In the app, Hate is a Dark Side card. I think it might be a typo with it working on Kanan.

And Maul is Scum. But he can be in a list with Ezra, and you can assign dark side powers to the ship Maul is on, if it has a Force Upgrade slot. It checks out, don't worry 😜
I wasn't intending to take over your thread, by any means, @KaLeu , sorry. I know I've seen at least one person talking about playing Kylo with Hate, and I feel like I've seen talk of putting Predictive Shot on either him or Vader, but not so much talk about actually playing with them. I don't play much Empire, and didn't get the FO kit, so I'm already having to proxy Hate, but uh. Yeah.
I guess. It worked in the app when I tried it ....so FFG has spoken
VCX with upgrades and innate multi mods. BIG PUKE

To be fair, I never flew as or against the meta Kanan/Fenn towards the end of 1e. I only started watching Rebels a few months ago, and have since been flying the Ghost a lot, though mostly piloted by Hera.

I was using Ezra as a pilot!! No wonder my numbers were all north 200!
This looks like an interesting build. It's hitting thetable Wednesday night.
@SpiderMana You're not taking over my thread, you're answering my question, thank you for that! Your Kanan build is most interesting, before i just thought Maul is too expensive for what he does.

I used your build last night and WOW! Never realised how obnoxious Maul, Ezra and Kanan could be! First match was against Rhymer, Karsabi, Deathrain and a named Tie. When my opponent ceded the match Kanan and Luke stil had shields. I lost the second match vs a resistance bomber and two resistance A-Wings. A very tight match. The last round had the bomber at one health and Luke at two. The bomber pulled a desperation move to get me in his rear arc which he managed to do. A two dice shot at R2 and I rolled two blanks. That was the only roll in two games where I didn't roll paint. Had I survived he would have moved off the board the next turn.
Going to use it again tonight. I'm going to try and remember Magva' s ability and use my S foils.
All in all a good night of X-wing! Thanks for the build!

😍 I’m so proud of my baby. The concept is just called Hatin’ Kanan, though I like to call this specific build Legends Never Die, as Luke is nearly invincible while Kanan is up and running. Glad you like it, and I’m hoping to eek out a few more points of upgrades if Kanan’s price decreases at all on the 28th. (Even if he goes down and Luke goes up, that’s better for the list’s MOV.)

I've always maintained that there were some evil geniuoses out there. I think you happen to be one of them.
I'm having a harder time in 2e building squads because of the absence of point values on cards. I used to spread the cards out like a Tarot deck then mixed and matched until I got something I liked. Now it's back and forth from the app to the cards and back.

Aw, thanks! I just had an urge to do some sort of Rebel Dark Side Power build, since Maul allowed for it.
Yeaaah I personally find it easer on my computer browser, really? It’s not a touch screen, which the site is optimized for, but being able to see things, and not having to go back-and-forth as much on certain screens... yeah.
I’ve flown Hate Asaj. Feels a lot better.
Predictive shot statistically is trash. It can make a bad situation only ok and the force saved as a mod is a better option.

Aethersprites, basically.

Is it worth it on them? Cause I would think that if that was the case it would be good for the Advanced V1 but it still seems like garbage.

With as many high-initiative pilots as it has, bullseye arc should be able to land fairly often. They might have the force point to spare, and if they don’t want to pay for the Delta-B(?) title for the extra attack die, it could end up being worth it. Especially if there’s a Jedi meta, or even if Vultures are prominent, you could be regularly negating one or two defense dice.

I guess the real question isn't whether it works on something, but is it worth taking over another Force Power?

I’ll get back to you on the 28th.
