A couple of questions.

By DrgnScorpion, in Warhammer Invasion Rules Questions

1) Bright Wizard Apprentice: Spend 2 resources to cancel the effects of an Action just triggered by another unit or support card. Cancel the effects of this card.

Can the Bright Wizard cancel a forced effect?

2) Are corrupted Units still able to use their actions such as Nurgle Sorceror or the Bright Wizard Apprentice?

3) Do corrupted unites give their power ratings to the zone their in?

Thanks for reading.

1) Bright Wizard Apprentice: Spend 2 resources to cancel the effects of an Action just triggered by another unit or support card. Cancel the effects of this card.

Can the Bright Wizard cancel a forced effect?

When the word "Action" (capital "A") is used, it refers to "Action:" abilities listed on cards. Therefore, a "Forced:" effect cannot be cancelled via Bright Wizard Apprentice.

2) Are corrupted Units still able to use their actions such as Nurgle Sorceror or the Bright Wizard Apprentice?

3) Do corrupted unites give their power ratings to the zone their in?

The answer to both these questions is yes. The only restriction on corrupt units is that they cannot be declared as attackers or defenders.

For #2, as long as their Action doesn't require them to corrupt (like Clan Rats), they can use it. But I suppose this is generally understood (just throwing it out there).

A simplification of answer #1, Forced Effects cannot be cancelled per the rulebook page 15, "Forced effects always occur immediately whenever their trigger is met, and they cannot be cancelled or interrupted by other actions."
