I’m at work but it snowed heavily last night so it is s l o w and I am bored.

It’s been discussed a little, but how ‘bout them V-19’s? How many do you think will fit in a list? Will they be very interesting as filler, or will people just put more upgrades on their Aethersprites? Will Clone-only lists be seen or will they always include a Jedi?

On a slightly related note, with the SoS teaser article, can we expect the GotR teaser this week? Will they keep it to one teaser per week or step it up? If it’s one per week, they’ll last through mid/late February. Will Wave 3 be released before I go to the system open in Chicago at Adepticon in late March? 😄

Definitely have one guy at the FLGS who is all in on the clones; no interest in the Jedi whatsoever. I'm more a Jedi guy myself - I grew up with Obi-wan. But I expect that something like six-ish Torrents would be possible. Maybe not a good idea, competitively. But a mixed squad of ARCs and Torrents could, depending on upgrades and synergies, be a giggle. I'm thinking I'll probably try something like two Jedi and two Torrents, just to try to limit the pain to my wallet (one GotR, one Aethersprite only).

And I am rather jealous of your snow. I grew up in the Midwest and have fond memories of winter, whereas out here in the PNW we're having yet another warmer than usual winter.

I'm very much looking forward to the V-19 just because I love the design of it, but I did go ahead and pickup a few extra Force tokens with the expectation of running an Aethersprite or two.

The stat line is 2/2/5/0 right?

I’m intrigued by the V-19’s, and the clones in general.

All of the In 3 clone pilots appear to have abilities referring to side arcs, and the faction-specific talent does as well. I love the “brothers-in-arms,” fighting side by side flavor of it. However, we’ll have to revisit formation flying to get the most out of those abilities. My guess on point cost is that they’ll be somewhere between 24 and 27 base. 25 seems right, and let’s you squeeze in 8 with no upgrades, but I doubt it’ll be a very competitive list.

Im curious how much lists will divide into “Jedi” lists and “clone” lists, or if we’ll see more of a mixture of the two (“Jedi Ace with clone mini swarm”).

Haha, I’m from Wisconsin, so I’m fairly pleased with such a great snowfall in Kansas.

This is something I’m interested in as well. Definitely going to be flying Plo with a pair of Clones (or three or four, if they’re Torrents instead of ARCs), and similarly with Obi-Wan.

The latter’s ability will be pretty dang great for flying with wingmen, and I’m kindof hoping Plo’s will be similarly helpful. But I wouldn’t complain if he’s more of an Ace.

And that’s all before we look at how great Devoted should be for Clones helping the Jedi out. Gah.

Oooh I’d have to look it up to be sure exactly but I believe Obi-wan can spend a force token when a friendly at range 0-2 spends a focus token, to give them another focus token.

I feel the V-19 will be costed a point out two me expensive than a Zed. They y to have a missile or torp slot. I wonder if there will be a device slot as well... Got to be able to destroy rocks, right?

It's imagine we'll be limited to 3 Jedi ships per list.

I want to fly an ARC, the V-19s and a Jedi (Obi Wan!).

I don’t know, I think you might be able to squeak 4 Jedi Knights into a list. Largely depends on how OP the purple action ends up being.

Edit: slightly worse stats than an A-wing (trades a shield for a hull)? Purple actions would have to be fricking amazing to even get the generic Knights up to 50 points.
